As promised, here is the information for this Saturday’s Fashion District cosplay shopping, straight from CSULA:

cospLAy club: Fashion District event
This Saturday cospLAy club is holding an open inclusive trip to fashion district to take care of cosplay materials. We will be meeting at CSULA second floor of the Student Union at 8:45am. You must be there 8:45am sharp for carpool and departures. Please email cosplay.csula@gmail.com with the following if you are attending:

- Name:
- School/Affiliation:
- Are you driving your own car (if yes, mark how many passengers can sit):
- Do you need a ride (if yes, be aware that you will need to pitch in a few dollars for parking):
- What languages do you speak?:
- Your shopping list (if applicable)
- Reference pictures (if applicable)
- Will you be attending dinner in Little Tokyo that evening?

NOTE: That we will be organizing our route based on the supplies you need to buy. You must submit a complete, extensive, itemized list. If you forget an item, or if you do not submit your list on time, time will NOT be made for you in this trip. You will be responsible for yourself.

DEADLINES:
The deadline to submit your information to cospLAy.csula@gmail.com is set to Friday 8AM. We will not accept shopping lists after that date, but we will accept individuals that would still like to attend.

SUGGESTIONS: It is highly recommended that you print all all reference pictures for your cosplay. Please note that this is downtown LA, food, water, and restrooms are difficult to come across. Therefore, it is acknowleged to bring yourself a small snack and 1-2 bottles of water. Usually, after the stores close, which is around 5:30pm, our group packs up and drives over to Little Tokyo for arcade/dinner. Please note if you will be attending.

Thank you for your time and cooperation,
~ Officers of cospLAy club

I will also be sending this through email and an event will also be posted on Facebook, so be sure to check both!

Also, please please do NOT only RSVP on Facebook. If you are attending, RSVP with CSULA through the email provided above.

Hello humans. This is Ivy, one of the leaders of the cosplay group. We gave some information during announcements a few weeks ago about the SoCal Cosplay Gathering at Mason Regional Park. This is not arranged by us, but by the SoCal Cosplay Group. Pre-reg has already ended, but you can still pay $10 at the event to get in. It’s basically like our CSUFxCSULAxCSULB cosplay picnic, just blown up by a crap load : D currently, there’s 100+ people signed up, and probably more arriving the day of to attend. So don’t miss out!

more info can be found on their OHP: http://www.socalcosplay.com/
