Due to labor day, there will be no meeting on the 6th, sadly.

Regardless, we will be having a tribute to anime film director Satoshi Kon, who died on the 24th of August. It will be on the 10th of September, this Friday, in the TSU Titan Theater from 5p.m. to 9p.m.

The club is looking for cosplay volunteers to help out at the club’s DiscoverFest Booth on September 1st and 2nd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Please note that you may be asked to walk around the quad, pass out flyers, and/or direct any interested peers towards our booth.
This particularly applies if you wish to participate in a Spot-the-Cosplayer game for incoming members. Further details will be provided at the booth.

So it is officially that time of the year again, where anime fans at CSUF can rejoice!

Starting August 30th, Anime Club will have meetings on Mondays in the Alvarado AB room. Meeting time is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (more on that later)

To both our old members and new members, we hope to see you on Monday.

The president and his cabinet would like a new flyer design created. Which means the artist faction will be having a little competition. To create a character that will go along with our general information from our club flyers.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1) character must be related to anime, CSUF, and the japanese culture.
2) NO SEXUAL REFERENCES, “sorry”

The competition will take place now until AUGUST 27
The best drawing will be selected by the President and his cabinet.
The winner will receive full recognition of his/her work and will receive a gift certificate to the Art Supply Warehouse.
